A day in the life at our Early Learning Centres
While routines vary across Y Early Learning Centres, here’s a guide to what a usual day may look like.
- Centre opens, warm welcome, breakfast provided, small group activities and free play to help children transition into the day
- Morning program and learning: morning tea, dedicated group time, and School ReadY Literacy and Language program, including planned teaching and structured indoor/outdoor play
- Freshly prepared lunch, followed by rest, sleep or quiet time for children
- Afternoon tea, educator-led or child-initiated activities, including creative, sensory, or outdoor play
- Casual play and small group activities, late snack, and gradual collection by families until the centre closes
