The Y School provides comprehensive student support services to support the wellbeing, learning and engagement of young people in alternative education.
Our support team consists of an Aboriginal Islander Education Officer (AIEO), Youth Workers and a School Counsellor.

Our School Counsellor provides confidential counselling and support to students, supporting emotional wellbeing, resilience and positive coping strategies.
The Counsellor works in collaboration with students, parents/carers and/or guardians, school staff and external services to support young people experiencing social, emotional or personal challenges that may impact their learning and wellbeing.
Our wider Youth Services team delivers engaging programs and workshops year-round to help young people stay connected to their peers, community and trusted adults.
