Frequently Asked Questions about the Y WA Family Day Care service
Family Day Care is suitable for children aged 0 to 12 years. Children outside this age range are not eligible to attend Family Day Care under national regulations.
Educators offer a range of options including part-time, full-time, before and after-school care, casual bookings, weekends, and evenings.
As each educator is self-employed, fees and operating hours vary. Educators will provide families with their current fee schedule during the interview and orientation process.
Our service team supports educators to set fair and transparent fee schedules which consider the Child Care Subsidy.
Yes. Eligible families can access the Child Care Subsidy to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
