Program Overview

Our HeadStart sessions support young people ages 16 to 25 build practical life skills that support the transition into adulthood.

Workshops cover topics such as budgeting, resume writing, interview techniques, job search support, independent living skills, healthy relationships, legal assistance, accessing Centrelink, applying for a tax file number, opening a bank account, cooking, basic car maintenance, and career advice.

The program is held at the Base@Belmont Youth Centre every Thursday (fortnightly) from 4pm to 6pm.
