ABOUT THE MIRRABOOKA 7-9 CAMPUS
The Y School Mirrabooka Years 7-9 campus provides a calm, supportive learning environment for middle school students to reconnect with learning and develop essential academic, social, and emotional skills.
Our curriculum combines Direct Instruction in Literacy and Numeracy, STEAM Learning, Protective Behaviours, and Positive Youth Development sessions, helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop practical life skills.
What makes our school special

- Self-expression and individuality are celebrated
- Classes operate in hubs of up to 30 students, supported by teachers, education assistants, and youth workers
- Individual Education Plans for every student that address academic, social and emotional development
- Passionate and experienced team, including teachers, youth workers, learning support specialists, a school counsellor, and an Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer (AIEO)
