About the Base@Belmont Youth Centre
Run in partnership with the City of Belmont, the Base offers a safe and supportive environment with qualified youth workers, programs and activities designed to help young people build confidence and skills.
What’s happening at the Base@Belmont
Young people can drop-in to the Base any time to relax, hang out with friends, and enjoy various free programs that empower young people to explore their interests, develop skills, and flourish.
During school holidays, we offer extended hours with free accredited courses, activities, sport, entertainment, and outings for young people to enjoy.

The Base offers free spaces for young people, local organisations, or community groups.
- Drop-in space: available during the day when not in use.
- Counselling room: private space suitable for small group or individual support.
- All space hire is subject to availability.
The Base offers great activities for youth.
My son has recently started going there and has already been on excursions and made new friends. The staff are friendly and help today’s youth be entertained and involved in social activities in a safe environment.
Best place to go to after school.
Wish I could give a higher score!! Best place to go to after school heaps of fun things to do, food, games, friends all the workers here are awesome and they all care about you, and always make sure you’re ok, I love this place more than anything, I would recommend this place to anyone aged 12-18 it’s amazing check them out!!!
