Youth Parliament played a huge role in shaping the advocate I am today.
While I’ve always been passionate about minority rights and justice, the program gave me the space to explore advocacy in a new way — through creating meaningful bills, delivering speeches that mattered to me, and learning from other incredible young people.
Hearing so many powerful youth voices was a reminder of what we’re capable of and what unites us. For me, it was also a reminder that I was seen. That recognition in a parliamentary space meant more than I can put into words — and it strengthened my commitment to continue advocating for others.
