Program Overview

Slam & Jam is a free Friday night youth diversionary program held at the Harold King Community Centre in Camillo for young people ages 10 to 17 years. The program provides a safe and positive space for at risk young people to connect, enjoy basketball, music, and a free meal.

Participation is referral-based with transport provided for eligible participants.

Slam & Jam is proudly funded by the Western Australian Police Force.

Each Friday night you can expect:

  • A free meal
  • Youth workers who are there to support you
  • Music
  • Basketball
  • A safe, welcoming space to chill with friends
  • Transport provided if needed (as identified during the referral process)
  • Activities that build skills, confidence, and connection

  • Nothing! Just yourself
  • All food, activities, and support are provided
